Annalisa Camilli is an award-winning journalist who has written for the Italian magazine Internazionale since 2007, and reported for the Associated Press Tv in Rome as a freelancer since 2008. She focuses in particular on immigration, human rights and inequality.
She is the author of La legge del mare. Cronache dei soccorsi nel Mediterraneo (2019), a book about the criminalization of NGOs in Italy and Europe and the podcast Limoni, about the violence of Italian police during the G8 in Genoa in 2001.
Winner of the 2017 Anne Lindt journalism award for the investigation The boat without a name for which she has spent six months investigating the deadliest shipwreck, searching the 28 survivors who are now living all over Europe.
