Life on Mars Call for participation

How to take part

The entire process will be reserved for no more than 100 participants: artists, cultural operators, cultural managers, public and private cultural organizations and public institutions.

In order to guarantee geodiversity and internal balance of the group, the Partnership will select the participants through an open call, to be published at the end of May.

The activities will be held in English and will require a participation fee of 300,00 for the organization and 250,00 for the individuals (VAT included). No fee is required to enter the application process.

What is included in your fee

Your fee includes:
– introduction session with all the participants (September 22, 2 h);
– webinar curated by Creative Carbon Scotland (September 22, 2h);
– access to live event in Bologna (13rd – 16th October), comprehensive off: 3 days of Open Space Technology, 3 days of mentoring sessions, 1 workshop on climate justice, 2 keynotes, 2 dialogues, 2 lunches, free visits to cultural venues in the city;
– 1 individual session of mentoring (November 22 / January 23, 30-40′);
– 2 collective session on relevant topics, decided by the participants (November 22 / January 23, 1 h each);
– 1 final online event (January 23, 2 h).

Travel and accommodation for Bologna event are not included in the fee. If you come from Scotland or Croatia, please note that Creative Scotland and Kultura Nova Foundation will provide grants for a selected number of participants (see their specific calls here below).

Are you coming from Scotland or Croatia?

Kultura Nova Foundation will provide grants for 5 participants – representatives of civil society organisations in contemporary arts and culture from Croatia. More information available here
