CEYDA BERK-SODERBLOM – Liv.In.G. Live Internationalization Gateway

Ceyda Berk-Söderblom is a Helsinki-based, award-winning arts manager, curator, festival programmer, entrepreneur, and expert of DEI, founder and artistic director of MiklagardArts, a facilitator for promoting transnational and transcultural collaborations.
With over 20 years of experience in the arts, Ceyda has curated programmes internationally and worked closely with world-known institutions, orchestras, artists, and ensembles. As an independent thinker with diverse educational qualifications, her professional career is driven by curiosity and boldness to challenge the norms. Her advocacy work, which focuses on diversity, equity and inclusion in arts and culture, is influenced by her experiences as a foreign-born art professional in Finland (M.A thesis: Diversity and Inclusion, a mission-critical task for today’s arts managers).
Ceyda is one of the founding members of UNTITLED, a global, cross-sectoral alliance for social imagination and experimentation. In 2020, she worked as an expert in the working group on cultural policy, immigration and cultural diversity appointed by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture to prepare policy guidelines and Art, Culture and Diverse Finland Report.
Ceyda holds a “Bene Merito” honorary distinction from the Republic of Poland.
